Our Stories – rugMaroc - Berber Rugs Made by Moroccan tribes

Our Stories

“I am a traveler & collector who seeks and handpicks one of a kind rugs that have been painstakingly hand-woven by unique women in extraordinary villages and tribes.

On each journey my wife, Robin, and I embark upon we rummage through thousands of rugs to select only a few choice specimens. While they may not be “museum quality” or excessively large or even in perfect condition ...the wear shows us how cherished these objects have been in the villagers own homes. The more worn and “imperfect” and unusual they are, the more intriguing although we are captivated by each and every carefully chosen rug we can not keep them all.

I have created rugMAROC as a source to share the beauty & intrigue woven into each work of art.
